At peace on January 18th 2008 at Abbey Court Care Home, Leek, Jean aged 86 years of Stockwell Mews and formerly of Six Elms Nursery, Ashbourne Road, Leek, the beloved wife of the late Phil Swindlehurst, much loved Mum of Matthew and Julia, dear mum-in-law of Lyn and David and special granny of Ben, Ruth, Sam and Charles. Following a private cremation a memorial service will take place on Wednesday January 30th at St Edwards church, Leek at 3pm, will friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the church, family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Children's Society.
